Sumter, we headed for dinner at Page's Okra Grill on the recommendation of Trip Advisor reviews and a friend who had been in town a week before we were.

When we left it was packed, bustling and folks were lined up outside! Monday we got there in time to catch breakfast, which they stop serving at 11:00 and we were seated and served with no gap in time! Don't interpret this as rushed, just a very well run eatery with southern charm and lots of smiles! Every server we encountered was friendly and cheerful, but not over the top! SO Refreshing! Our omelets were amazingly light and filling and of course fresh, local food is always welcomed and appreciated! Choices of breads were a nice addition.white, wholewheat or rye (my husband's favorite)! Also home fries or grits too! Page's will be a staple on our annual visits to the Charleston area! You shouldn't miss it either! Side Note: Come hungry because it is a lot of great food.you won't need another meal for awhile!Īfter a long day at the beach and touring Ft. We have attempted eating at Pages several times when in the area with no success due to a 'packed house' or not knowing the hours of operation! Well.we got it right on this trip and did 2 days in a row, both breakfast and we ordered the same dish! Doesn't make for a varied review but it is a testament to the quality service, fantastic food and reasonable pricing! We hit it around 9:00 on Sunday morning and walked in, ordered and sat with our coffee for a few but out in a reasonable amount of time.
